We’re setting aside time again in December for a psychedelic integration session!
What is integration, and why do we recommend it? In order to process our psychedelic experiences into our day-to-day, it’s crucial to build a bridge between the non-ordinary and the “normal” reality we inhabit. This is a way to preserve and enact some of those insights through verbalization, reflection, and perhaps even actionable steps. This is your opportunity to ground with others through the potent art of integration — to interpret your experience and self in a space that is safe, non-judgemental, and true to the moment you are in.
Hosted by longtime BPS member Bill Winter, this two-day event will include two integration circles, held on December 8th and December 15th, from 6:00-8:00 pm in Brooklyn. The exact location will be sent to ticket holders before the event. We are limiting the number of participants to 10.
The first meeting will provide space for all participants to process insights and construct narratives around their experiences. The second meeting will focus on the connection to the personal contexts in which experiences were held, and how major takeaways can be embodied in daily life.
For these integration circles, we are trying something a little different. Everyone who participates in the circle will be given 5 minutes to share their experience. Bill, the host, will keep time. While 5 minutes might not seem like a lot of time, we’d like to encourage you to take this as an opportunity to do some creative writing and processing to help succinctly weave your narrative of your journey. You’ll be provided a few prompts when you purchase your ticket to help you write out your story.
**Please note that proof of vaccine will be required. No exceptions. Thank you for respecting our decision to require this**
