Brooklyn Psychedelic Society’s mission is to democratize access to psychedelic healing through education, community, co-operative ownership, and advocacy.

WHO WE ARE

The Brooklyn Psychedelic Society is a community-based not-for-profit that supports individuals pursuing transformative psychedelic experiences. Our offerings include education, workshops, community-gatherings, support services, and many other programs for before and after a psychedelic experience. We seek to be an ecosystem that makes flourishing from a transformative experience more likely, both for the individual and society at large.

OUR GOALS

WELCOMING

Brooklyn Psychedelic Society is situated in Brooklyn, NY, which is one of the most diverse cities in the world. This is our chance to reconstruct the significance of psychedelics beyond its usual boundaries.

TRANSFORMATIVE

The psychedelic experience is a very powerful catalyst for change and growth. The work we do before and after are actually what makes this experience transformative. We aim to provide structures to aid in healthy, dynamic growth.

GROUNDED

We seek to be a grounded environment and brand by having a relaxed, calm space as well as a subtle and new aesthetic around psychedelics. BPS should be able to simultaneously feel like a refuge for those in distress as well as a launching pad for those looking to learn and change.

HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP BROOKLYN PSYCHEDELIC SOCIETY

NONPROFIT STATUS

As some of you may know, we are fiscally sponsored by MAPS. Meaning every donation you give is now tax-deductible and greatly appreciated! However, we are operating as a not-for-profit, and need to file the necessary paperwork to take us to the next level: A nonprofit organization. There are filing fees, legal fees, and other fun monetary requirements that your contributions will help cover.

NEW PROGRAMS AND EVENTS

While we're adding more programs focused on a wider variety of demographics and subject matters, we're also gearing up to host events with top experts in the field of psychedelic research and activism.

TOP TO BOTTOM BPS IDENTITY REVAMP

The brand identity of BPS began from a great place. But as time went on, we recognized a change was needed to reflect an ever-changing community we are so humbly grateful to sustain. Over time, we hope to strengthen these bonds, maintaining stability through our evolution.

STAFF / VOLUNTEERS

Many people have passed through our doors and dedicated their time, energy, and skills with little to no reward. We are ever so thankful for their volunteer spirit but recognize the need for compensation to encourage a steady forward momentum.

OFFICE / EVENT SPACE

As our team and programs expand, so does the need for a comfortable psychedelic center to host meetings and events.
