About the event

Join BPS’ monthly affinity group dedicated to exploring the synergy between meditation and psychedelic use.

This gathering is meant to nurture a supportive and inclusive space for new and seasoned meditators alike. During these evenings, we sit together, have conversations about meditation practice, and look at ways in which it can be of support during the preparation, navigation and integration of psychedelic journeys.

Insight meditation practitioner Guillaume Caron will facilitate experiential learnings and "consciousness skills" with the aim of making psychedelic journeys safer, deeper, and more rewarding. Through reflections, guided meditation, Q&A, relational practices in break out groups and a sharing circle, we will explore the relevance of meditation practice for anyone on the psychedelic path.

As the group finds its stride, we hope that it not only supports those navigating the psychedelic waters with more ease and grace, but that it becomes a space of mutual support and meaningful relationships.

Arrival: In order to respect the circle, which begins with a set of agreements, please arrive at or before 7:00 pm.

Donation: It takes lots of behind-the-scenes coordination to organize BPS events. Please consider the extent that best represents your financial situation. The sliding scale is $15-30. If you are unable to contribute at this time, we still welcome you to attend.

About the facilitator:

Guillaume Caron’s greatest teachers are the challenges and wonders of his own life: balancing artistic aspirations with the necessity to make a living, striving for a healthy lifestyle in a massive urban center, and adapting to a non-native culture and language while remaining authentic.

Guillaume started practicing meditation in 2014 at New York Insight where he was exposed to a vast array of teaching styles and ways of relating to the Dharma. While rooted in Theravada Buddhism, Guillaume has been exploring other traditions of awakening and modalities of healing such as non-violent communication, inner child awareness, and plant medicine ceremonies.
