About the event
Whether pleasant, neutral, or uncomfortable, interactions with others often unearth material that can be difficult to work with. Day to day life can sometimes feel too fast, intense or goal-oriented to bring awareness to all that is revealed in those moments.
But those moments hold tremendous potential for healing and change. How do we work with them? How do we develop more mindfulness while relating to others?
Guided by Insight meditation practitioner Guillaume Caron, this workshop will explore techniques and practices we can bring to bear on the “relational field” of life. We will slow down, come into our bodies and use techniques to reveal what might ordinarily be invisible to us.
By inviting a pause, orienting towards what’s felt in the body, and loosening up, we can connect in a way that feels more natural, emergent and grounded. From there we begin our exploration of the relational field. We notice our mind’s generation of perceptions, stories and projections. We notice latent dispositions, tendencies and habits, as our noticing gives rise to new possibilities.
We will hold a closed container with agreements meant to foster trust and respect between participants. We hope you will be inspired and come away with insight and tools for continued exploration in your lives!
Arrival: Doors open at 2:45 PM, the workshop starts at 3 PM. Please arrive on time so we can keep the space contained.

About the facilitator:
Guillaume Caron’s greatest teachers are the challenges and wonders of his own life: balancing artistic aspirations with the necessity to make a living, striving for a healthy lifestyle in a massive urban center, and adapting to a non-native culture and language while remaining authentic.
Guillaume started practicing meditation in 2014 at New York Insight where he was exposed to a vast array of teaching styles and ways of relating to the Dharma. While rooted in Theravada Buddhism, Guillaume has been exploring other traditions of awakening and modalities of healing such as non-violent communication, inner child awareness, and plant medicine ceremonies.
