Casteneda’s The Teachings of Don Juan has been a psychedelic classic since the 70s, and its magical narratives have turned many people onto the plant medicine path. But it is not without its problems. What is true, and what is fabrication? Join us to discuss this fascinating influence on psychedelia and the counterculture.

This month, a book club member is opening up his home in BedStuy for a cozy discussion. We will NOT be meeting at Caffeine Underground, our usual venue.

We recommend you read some or all of the book in advance, so that we can have a richer conversation as a group. However, those who have not read the book are very welcome to attend.
