The Feels: a mindful singles event

For those who don’t know, the Feels (profiled in The New York Times) is a powerful and playful way of exploring intimacy with strangers. The format was built in partnership with Columbia University and it blends positive psychology, mindfulness, non violent communication + somatic awareness practices.

This is not a dating event per se. You can attend simply with the intention to practice mindful social relating, to explore and expand your own communication patterns, to learn practices that support healthy and meaningful romance, and so on.

It is BPS’s vision to create a robust, value-based community. Part of this involves opening safe, playful spaces for people to explore their own limitations, fears, and desires–and this is just what the Feels is all about. We are glad to offer this opportunity to our community. Come join us!
